Education

It’s our belief at Action for Food that the best way to guarantee a safe, natural and sustainable environment and climate in the future is to ‘Catch Them Young’. Them here refers to Children - That is why we are creating Climate change clubs in schools in communities where we work to raise awareness and instill a sense of echo-friendliness and environmental responsibility that will be harnessed into adulthood.

We target particularly primary and secondary schools because youth at this stage will effectively build good habits. We host social events for students to enable them model the right to food and the fight against climate change through activities such as singing, dancing, debates, Poetry/ Spoken word, essay writing contests, and agricultural innovation competitions.

The response to this novel approach has been fantastic over the years and we hope to upscale it in the future.
