Peace and Security

Agriculture is the dominant sector in which supports the livelihood of most households in fragile conflict and protracted crisis regions in the world.

We, therefore, believe that understanding the dynamics of agriculture, and engaging in its promotion, protection and improvement can go a long way to build peace and mitigate the risk of food insecurity, especially in post-conflict and reconstruction era.

It is our conviction that by building the capacity of communities in alternative conflict resolution and preventive violent extremism we can improve access to adequate food, improve livelihoods and the situation of food security in communities in Africa.
