Anti Open Defication Campaign

We are determined to end open defecation not just in rural areas but in urban suburbs as well. A4F has participated in Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) triggering the training of trainees.

This campaign is aimed at training many more youth volunteers on triggering and the campaign targets mostly city suburbs.

After the triggering, we draw up action plans for these communities and in collaboration with relevant partners and sanitation stakeholders we go ahead to certify the triggered communities open defecation free.
