Demonstration Farms

Action for food seeks to set up demonstration farms and greenhouses which we will use to teach new and uncommon eco-friendly agriculture techniques and showcase new seeds and crops.

On-farm demonstrations serve as one of the most effective extensions of education tools for women and youth in agriculture. We offer extension services where we assist local farmers through education procedures to improve farming methods and technics so as to increase crop yield and thus make progress on achieving SDG 1 and 2 of No Poverty and Zero Hunger.

We wish to establish food banks in the near future from where we shall run value addition training and anti-food waste campaigns. These food banks shall entail a call for donation of food especially from those with abundance to as to process, properly store and re-donate to people with little or no food in our communities.
